About the Author:
Ans Fredriksz was born in former Dutch New Guinea (which at the time was a colony of the Netherlands and was under Dutch govern) and moved with her parents and family to The Netherlands or “Holland” as it is also known. Being raised in Holland her native tongue is Dutch and she came to Australia in January 1982 with 2 young children and $15.00 in her pocket. Having no money and not being able to speak the English language her life was to be changed as dramatically as one could imagine within the next few years. Her personal journey was to take shape in learning to make decisions when confronted by challenging situations.
She furthered her education by taking night classes to master the English language. While working fulltime and after the birth of her third and last child, Ans decided to take courses in the Bookkeeping and Accountancy industry and passed her exams with honours and distinctions.
Various aspects of her life and her personal and individual growth has prompted her to write her first book and she is currently writing her second book, which she named “Broken Silence”. Final dates of completion, release and availability will be updated on our website in due time.

Ans lives in Sydney, Australia and is the mother of one daughter and two sons who now are all adults and is the proud grandmother of six grandchildren.
